CMI Personal Retirement Account
The Personal Retirement Account is an offshore regular premium or single premium
investment plan with some life cover. If you would like to increase your investment
or switch funds, you can select from a range of CMI Insurance Company Limited unit-linked
investment funds. Please see the list of available funds below for more information.
The Personal Retirement Account is intended to be a medium to long-term investment,
ideally for five years or more. The value of these investments may go down as well
as up and you may not get back the amount invested.
Although the bond is no longer open to new investors, we continue to manage this
product for our other customers. Additional investments can be made to existing
portfolios at any time subject to a minimum of £2,500 or currency equivalent for
single investments, £500 or currency equivalent for annual regular premiums and
£50 or currency equivalent for monthly regular premiums. Please contact us for further details.
Your Personal Retirement Account policy number will range from N600001A to N699999Z.
If you are looking to take out a new investment, please visit the Offshore Bonds section on
our Scottish Widows website.

Before choosing an alternative fund or funds, you need to determine your attitude
to risk. Using the table below find the statement in the left hand column which
best describes your attitude to risk; this gives you an idea as to the risk rating
in the right hand column that you can use to select the fund(s) that suit your investment
needs. Please remember that the risk category of each fund is the opinion of Clerical
Medical and may not necessarily match your own perceptions of risk.
Please note: If you switch out of an Offshore With-Profits Fund or a Guaranteed
Growth Fund, a Market Value Adjuster may apply.
